About Dwight Schuh
Bowhunter, Contributor to the Sport....
Dwight Schuh started reading magazines about the outdoors as early as the first grade. By High School, Dwight knew he wanted to be an outdoor writer.
After serving three years in the Army, Dwight earned degrees in English and Journalism. In 1971, he started out as a freelance writer and photographer.
During the early years, with much of his writings on fishing and bird hunting, it wasn’t long before he wrote about what he loved most, bowhunting. Dwight has been published and recognized nationwide for his writings.
Dwight was one of the nation’s top bowhunters and was respected as a writer as well. He successfully bow hunted over 25 years and took most every North American big game animal. Besides writing eight books on archery, he was featured in several videos.
• Dwight Schuh class of 2019, he was inducted into the Archery Hall of Fame in 2022.
