Founder of the Bohning Company located in Lake City, Michigan. Rollin was a chemical engineer, who first worked in the auto industry, and did pioneer work in developing and adapting adhesives and finishes to keep pace with changing technologies in the expanding market of archery accessories.

• Invented Ferr-L-Tite Adhesive to Attach Metal Points to Wood Shafts, Fletch-Tite Fletching Adhesive for the First Aluminum Arrows Developed by Doug Easton

• Invented Tex-Tite Special Blended Wax to Waterproof the First Dacron Synthetic Bowstrings, Dri-Tite Water-Proofing Compound for Feather Fletching and Fletch-Lac Arrow Lacquers for Cresting Aluminum Arrows

• Developed a Process to Decrease the Time Required for Bread to Rise by Feeding Yeast Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)

• Developed a High-Lysine Corn to Grow in Arid Areas to Combat World Hunger

• Developed a Non-Medical Dietary Method to Control Diabetes
