About Victor Berger
Competitor, Contributor to the Sport...
He was born December 25, 1935 in Weihnachtsdorf, Germany, the son of Englebert and Regina (Grotter) Berger. Victor was very advanced in the field of archery and was know as the "White Knight". He had won many local and national awards for archery both indoors and outdoors and was received into the Archery Hall of Fame.
He invented the Berger Button for bows which is still in use today. He also enjoyed polo and soccer. Mr. Berger was retired from White Motors and had been employed at Wittenberg University.

• Inventor and designer of “The Berger Button” in the late 1960’s. For over a decade the “Berger Button” was the standard name for any plunger made.
